Midwifery Services
Initial visit → 42 week
Getting started
Your first visit is two hours long and includes an initial draw of lab work, done in-house.
Intial-28 Weeks
One-hour visits every four weeks to follow your pregnancy's progress.
28–36 Weeks
Visits move to every two weeks. A second round of lab work is drawn at 28 weeks, or sooner if a concern comes up.
36 Weeks
The Home Visit
A full two-hour visit at your home — a chance to walk through your space, your plans, and your questions before labor begins.
36 Weeks to Birth
One-hour weekly visits continue until you go into labor.
37–42 Weeks
On call, 24/7
I am on call around the clock during this window, ready to come to you when labor starts.
Lab work & ultrasounds
Routine lab work is drawn in-house at your initial visit and again at 28 weeks, or as needed if any issues arise. Ultrasounds are referred out to an outside imaging provider.
Once active labor is established, I come to your home to support you through the process. Your homebirth care includes:
Continuous labor support
Homebirth attendance
Water birth options, with rental birth tubs available
Maternal and newborn monitoring
Emergency medications and equipment
Neonatal resuscitation equipment
Immediate newborn care
Breastfeeding support
Complete cleanup before we leave your home
After your baby arrives, I remain with your family for several hours to make sure both mom and baby are healthy, comfortable, and transitioning well.
